UShers & Greeters

You are the face of Christ, and your welcome will evangelize.

Description

Greeters and Ushers welcome people and begin the process of forming them as a worshipping body.  Ushers also tend to the needs of people, help find a seat, gather the collection, assist with processions, and bid farewell


Time Commitment

Greeters - 30 minutes before Mass

Ushers - during Mass and 15 minutes after Mass


Help Needed

Seeking Greeters and Ushers for all weekend Masses and Holy Days of Obligation.


Skills or Talents

Greeters -

  • Welcoming, responsible, and dependable
  • Be comfortable in large groups, have excellent people skills
  • Young people and families with children are welcome to join this ministry!


Ushers

  • Welcoming, responsible, and dependable
  • Be prudent and trustworthy, discernment of needs
  • Be knowledgeable of the parish, be part of the team
  • Be prayerful and reverent


Training

One hour training and meeting twice a year.

There will be additional meeting for preparation for Easter Triduum.
