Altar Server

Bringing people closer to God by serving Him at the altar. Building leaders and growing together as a family. 

Description

Assist the priest at Mass by carrying the cross and processional candles, hold the book for the priest, carry the incense and censer, receive the gifts with the priest during the preparation of the Eucharist, receive the gifts from the people, wash the hands of the priest and so much more.


Time Commitment

Serve on Sundays, Holy Days of Obligation, and other liturgical celebrations for approximately 2 hrs. Arrive 30 mins before Mass.


Skills or Talents

If you have done your first communion and are interested in serving, welcome!


Training

Attend classes or retreats for altar servers. Confess at least once a month. Have a positive attitude when serving.
